The port of Piraeus is located in the capital of the country. Having been under major investment planning, the port of Piraeus is under the control of Cosco and is considered major destination for container lines.
The port has an international appeal as it stands for domestic as well as for European destinations. It is considered a gate of Europe from the south and plays a dominant role in Mediterranean Sea.
The Container Terminal has all facilities and equipment of high standard and the ability to offer advanced services in loading and offloading containers. The mechanical equipment is of the latest technology, compiled of eight cranes (4 SPP) and eight RMGs.
THESSALONIKI CONTAINER TERMINAL
The largest seaport in north Greece
The Port of Thessaloniki is one of the largest Greek seaports and one of the largest ports in the Aegean Sea basin. It also functions as a major gateway for the Balkan hinterland and south-eastern Europe.
The port is ideal for all the major destinations and strategically located to efficiently serve the inland and re-export. It is also under major reshaping, to modernize the facilities and rail service.
The Container Terminal was designed and created in accordance with state-of-the-art technologies and is equipped with modern container handling equipment. The terminal includes manned technical support facilities. Four cranes are used for container loading-unloading services.
The Container Terminal is the destination of almost all shipping lines such as MSC, Maersk, Evergreen, COSCΟ, CMA CGM, ARKAS, ZIM, Hapag Lloyd, and others.
Our company has cold stores located inside the port terminal and offers full range services from shipping agency to stripping, warehousing and delivering perishables to final destination.
PATRAS TERMINAL
The main gateway to Greece from Italy and Western Europe
The port of Patras is a major gate of Greece from the west. The port serves the lines from Italy mainly and is considered the road from Europe with trucks through Ionian Sea.
The Port Authority of Patras has facilities, machinery and staff that can serve cargo transit in the North Port. Moreover, it includes an open storage area for deposition of general cargo. The operation of the customs service allows the traffic of imported and exported merchandise.
Furthermore, it contains 3 weighbridges (two in the South Port and one in the North) for weight control of vehicles and weighing of cargoes.
Our office has the headquarters in the city port and is the birthplace of our activities.
AEGION REEFER TERMINAL
Stevedoring and Forwarding services
The port of Aegion represents the living history of bananas in Greece. The only reefer terminal with cold storage facilities and extensive customization, it became the «homeland» of bananas in Greece and neighbouring countries for almost 30 years.
The terminal has significant importance for reefer vessels carrying bananas and practically all the corporate companies delivered their bananas from Aegion. Specifically, the terminal has been the key destination for Chiquita and Great White Fleet for decades.
Our company literally built the port from the ground up. This is the place our team grew up and thrived over the years and created the know-how of the entire business sector. We are present there and offering stevedoring and forwarding services with cold stores designed for perishables.
VOLOS TERMINAL
In the centre of Greece
The commercial port of the city of Volos is located in an important geopolitical position and it is fast growing operating under an active plan of infrastructure and activity expansion. Part of that plan is a new line of connection with Cyprus and Israel, a more effective use of the terminal, the creation of a commercial station and a connection with the railway system.
The port of Volos is well protected from weather conditions and optimal for minor repairs and maintenance services. It is going to be one of the country’s ports that will have the ship supplying system on the LNG fuel, a kind of natural gas that some ships will be obliged to use from 2022 for environmental protection reasons. ELEFSINAS TERMINAL
Heavy industry gateway
The port of Eleusis is located in western Attica and it is entirely commercial. Goods are transported in containers and in bulk. The space has been described as a customs precinct. On average, 2 million tons of goods are unloaded and transported within the country on a yearly basis.
The main goods transported are iron, stacks of sheet iron, paper rolls, wood, scrap, tubes, concrete bars etc. An estimated 12.000 trucks transport about 200.000 tons of goods from the customs area.
